BBC News: Schools fail to hit basics target

Shocking news just in from the BBC website:

Five hundred secondary schools in England did not meet the government’s minimum target for GCSE attainment, the annual performance tables show.

This article really highlights the challenge parents are now facing in the hunt for the best education for their children.
