This, along with a number of other apparently simple questions, features in a new book by Rob Eastaway. Radio 4’s today programme extracted six of these conundrums and put them into a quick online quiz - suitable for self-declared maths-whizzers of all ages.

Safari, So Good?

TECHNICAL UPDATE: Some customers recently brought to our attention problems with our online assessment.

After some careful investigation we’ve determined users of the internet browser Safari, version 3.1, have difficulties finishing the assessment. Users of other versions of Safari should not have any problems.
