Teaching gets even easier with v2.3
Maths-Whizz Teachers’ Resource improvements keep moving on. This week sees version 2.3 hit the interweb for annual licence holders to download, update, and enjoy.
The Key features of v2.3 are threefold:
- A new and snazzier interface, with clearer icons, a clock in the top-right-hand corner and useful information about our online tutor referral scheme.
- Primary Framework Block planning tools. Organised by year and block, these planning documents are available to save and print on your desktop. The planners will help you find Maths-Whizz exercises aligned to key objectives in every Block from Year 1 to Year 6.
- The new Whizz Interactive Board! This is a huge improvement from earlier versions of our Maths-Whizz Teachers’ Resource Whiteboard Tools. The screenshot below gives just a flavour of what can be done, but the most important changes are:
- Graphing tools
- Fractions tools
- Adjustable 2D and 3D shapes
- 3D shape nets
- Number Cards and Number Machines
- Randomised playing cards and dice
- Coloured backgrounds for greater accessibility
- Easier-to-use panel view and explanatory text
