New at BETT 2006 Maths-Whizz Teachers’ Resource Year 7
Building on the success of Maths-Whizz Teachers’ Resource for KS1 and KS2, Whizz Education released the Year 7 Resource at BETT 2006.
The Year 7 resource contains 167 animations covering all the National Curriculum learning objectives for this year. It also features an animated mathematical dictionary and a ‘Toolbox’ function with an interactive calculator, coins, a protractor and other drawing and measuring tools.
The future of online tuition
Whizz Education also offer an online private tutoring service for 5-11 year olds, based on the award-winning animated exercises from the Teachers’ Resource. The Maths-Whizz service is leading the market in offering online tuition for children who want to catch up, get ahead or simply get motivated in maths. In addition to an individually tailored lesson plan, each student gets their own virtual bedroom which they can fill with pets, plants and toys. The service also includes up-to-the-minute usage and progress reports for parents.
