In this position Richard has had direct experience working with individual schools, ministries of education, donor organisations and commercial partners in six continents across the globe, to raise standards in maths for 5 to 13 year olds through the provision of online individualised tutoring, teacher-led digital tools and application of best practices. Richard also drives and participates in product research and innovation, collaborating with academia and industry to further the frontiers of online virtual tutoring and capacity building to use ICT for learning.

Richard graduated from Oxford University in 1994 with a BA and MA in mathematics.

Ray’s 30 year career in investment banking and venture capital saw him lead multinational teams in M & A and corporate finance transactions between Europe, Japan, Asia and North America. As a director of Hill Samuel, Apax, and Daiwa Europe, Ray has had wide experience of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and IPOs, especially in the software, media and electronics sectors. Ray is a graduate of New College, Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Bill has worked extensively for media and content-related companies throughout his career – most recently in Enterprise and Solution Architecture positions for IMG World and ITV Plc. Prior to this, Bill was an entrepreneur, Software Director for a leading European digital distribution company, CTO of a streaming media start-up and Programme Manager for Microsoft in Sydney, Australia. As Head of Technology and Chief Architect of Whizz Education, Bill is responsible for designing and delivering the technology and content strategy to meet all current and future business requirements and for building a world-class technology capability.
