UK Trade & Investment congratulated Whizz Education and Nanmeebooks on their seminar “Raising Standards in Mathematics with Personalised Learning”.
Ben Raby, Deputy Director of Trade & Investment at the British Embassy in Bangkok, gave an opening speech to congratulate Whizz Education and Nanmeebooks in launching their seminar on “Raising Standards in Mathematics with Personalised Learning”.
Since 2004, Whizz Education has pioneered online, adaptive maths. Maths-Whizz is an education innovation based on personalized learning that can help raise student standards in maths in schools.
Maths-Whizz is acclaimed worldwide. It has been used in 4,000 schools in the UK and has been introduced to a number of countries around the world, with support from UK Trade & Investment. Maths-Whizz has also been successfully implemented in 8 states in the USA and is being used by 100,000 students in Moscow,New Zealand and United Arab Emirates.
Its success is recognised by various awards including seven BETT Awards, six Education Resources Awards and the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2012. The Queen’s Award which dates back to 1966, honour outstanding UK companies and encourage the development of British business; they are the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
The UK Trade & Investment team in Thailand was delighted to be able to introduce Maths-Whizz to Nanmeebooks Innovations, a leading institute trusted by Thai teachers which is also a leading provider of Science and Mathematics books and innovative learning resources.
Maths-Whizz and Nanmeebooks Innovations are now working closely together with the goal of raising standards in mathematics in Thailand.
