Even when schools are closed, Math-Whizz is a great way to keep children on track with their learning and a great form of learning loss prevention.
Every year the Whizz Winter Adventure goes a little further towards helping Math-Whizz students continue making progress on their learning journeys between their busy present-opening schedules (as long as they have completed their initial assessment).
As a fun form of learning loss prevention, it also frees up parents’ time and, importantly, makes teachers’ jobs just that little bit easier come January!
The 2015 Whizz Winter Adventure…
If you’re a Math-Whizz teacher, remind your students and their parents that this year’s Winter Adventure will be live from 15th December 2015. It contains 12 themed activities, of which 6 are game-style activities and 6 are ‘Around the World’ festivities quizzes.
While the Winter Adventure is live, every 30 credits earned results in a star. Each Winter Adventure activity costs two stars and each quiz costs one star. A puzzle piece of a winter scene is unlocked every time an activity is completed. Once every puzzle piece is revealed, the scene comes alive!
Ask your students to log in and embark upon the Winter Adventure between 15th December 2015 and 6th January 2016 to make sure their math education stays on track this winter!
