Title 1 – No Child left behind
Providing funds to school districts and schools with high numbers of disadvantaged children.
The main aim of the funding is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach at least minimum proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and assessments. Title 1 therefore funds services that support this aim.
